This family has been through an incredibly painful season. Tina is a devoted mother who works hard to shield her children from life’s harshest moments, but in May, their world changed when the children’s father died suddenly. The loss was shocking and confusing, and the entire family is still working through the grief. Even in her own heartbreak, Tina has shown remarkable strength, giving the kids love, structure, and support so they can navigate this difficult time together.

They are now facing their first Christmas without dad, and the weight of that absence is heavy. The family lives in public housing, and making ends meet is a daily challenge. A visit from Santa would bring light and magic to a holiday that will otherwise feel very hard, and help lift their spirits during a season marked by loss.
