We are deeply grateful to every single person who helped make this possible; from those who referred families and helped with adoptions, to everyone who donated, wrapped gifts, delivered magic, and stayed behind for cleanup when the night was done. In total, we had more than 300 people donate time and treasure.
Because of your abundance of generosity, we were able to serve 31 families—reaching a total of 131 children, 49 adults, and 12 dogs and cats. Each family member was met with dignity and care and left with a bit of wonder and hope.
This effort was truly a community creation, built on anonymous acts of kindness and many hands working together behind the scenes towards that magical Christmas Eve moment of deliveries. The following is the result of all of your hard work and generosity.
Though we do not take photos/videos or identify ourselves to these families, we can share tales of what happened to Santa that night. These moments of surprise, laughter, and tears are strong reminders of why this work matters so much.
Even though Santa never gets lost, this family took a little extra effort to find. When Santa and the elves finally pulled up, grandma and mom were already standing outside looking for a confused pizza delivery driver who also had trouble finding the place. Santa arrived just in time to join the chaos. As soon as Santa got to the front door, Mom wrapped him in a big hug and said, “Welcome, Santa,” then ushered him inside. He sat down with the three girls who were eagerly waiting, and started chatting about school and how the year had gone.
Naturally, Santa asked the important question: had they been good this year? Each girl started to answer, but every time one opened her mouth, the other two immediately jumped in with, “Not so much.” After a quick family vote, it was decided that none of the kids had been particularly good. The only unanimous decision was that Mom had absolutely been good all year—at least someone passed the test!
Santa told Mom that if she was the only one on the Nice List, maybe she deserved more than one present. That got some laughs and a few playful protests from the girls just as their French bulldog strolled in, proudly wearing an outfit that perfectly matched Santa’s. Clearly, Santa has competition.
Next, Santa opened the front door, with twelve enormous bags waiting on the porch. Mom, grandma, and the girls all froze with their hands over their mouths, staring and practically speechless, as Santa dragged the bags inside, one by one. Mom gave Santa another big hug and asked to take pictures. As they took photos by the Christmas tree, she grabbed a selfie with Santa for good measure.
After wishing them a Merry Christmas, Santa headed back to the sleigh and on to the next stop, leaving behind a house full of laughter, gifts, and one very well-dressed dog.
When Santa knocked, the fifteen-year-old daughter answered the door. She was cautious and hesitant, as the rest of the family was not home, so she kept the door open and spoke with Santa at the doorway. Santa understood and wanted to make sure she felt safe and comfortable; he knew his elves would find another way to creatively deliver the rest of the gifts later.
Santa handed her the white bag of gifts for each family member, carefully wrapped with their names on each one. As she realized that something magical was happening, she grew emotional and grateful, calling her mom on the phone and repeating, “Oh my gosh,” as she tried to take it all in.
Even in just the few minutes they spoke, it was clear how much this meant to her. Santa said goodbye, knowing that soon she would receive an even bigger surprise. Moments later, after Santa had stepped away, the elves quietly placed giant red bags filled with gifts at front of the door, rang the doorbell, and ran.
This was one of the more memorable stops of the night. When Santa knocked, the eleven-year-old daughter answered the door and calmly explained that her mom was in the bathroom. Santa said he could wait. Then mom came out, took one look, and asked seriously, “Who sent you?” “Mrs. Claus,” Santa told her.
She looked even more confused, but invited Santa inside. Santa sat down, and the daughter joined in while mom kept turning to her and asking, “Do you know anything about this?” The daughter, equally puzzled, kept saying she had no idea what was going on.
Santa explained that the daughter had written him a letter, which only deepened the mystery. Mom looked at her inquisitively, but her daughter chimed in, saying she didn’t remember any letter. In full detective mode, Mom kept trying to figure out exactly how Santa had found their house until he handed them the first present. They were incredibly kind and grateful, exchanging a few pleasantries before Mom’s inner Sherlock Holmes kicked back in.
Santa was prepared for this and went to open the front door. Mom and daughter stood side by side, staring in silence as they took in the sight of all the bags. They looked at each other, then back at the porch, still not fully processing as Santa started dragging the bags of gifts inside, one by one.
Once everything was finally inside, the mood shifted and Mom became emotional. Santa sat down and gently said, “No need to ask any more questions. You’ve clearly been good this year. Christmas came to you.” She shared that she hadn’t felt the Christmas spirit this year; she couldn’t afford gifts and didn’t even put up a tree. She never dreamed anything like this could happen, but the surprise, timing, and kindness finally sank in. She asked for a hug. Santa gave her one, then the daughter, too.
When Santa arrived, no one was home. The elves called Mom, who was very surprised but quickly worked with the apartment manager to let us in. Once they had access, Santa and the elves carefully unloaded all the presents and set everything up so the family would find a huge pile of gifts when they returned, wrapped and labeled for every family member.
Santa closed the door, imagining the looks on their faces when they found the surprises waiting for them.
Even though this family has faced many struggles this year, the positivity, kindness, and care for each other remains strong. Santa could feel this warmth and love as soon as he entered their home. He sat down and handed individual presents to the family from his bag. The two young girls were overjoyed when they received their gifts; their excitement filling the room almost immediately. Little did they know an even bigger surprise would be waiting just behind their front door. After the big reveal, they were over the moon! They laughed, talked over each other, and couldn’t stop smiling as they took everything in.
Mom was incredibly thankful and visibly moved, expressing her gratitude again and again, clearly touched by the thought and care behind this anonymous effort. They were a wonderful family!
This stop was for a mother with two older teenage children and a baby grandson. When Santa arrived, the eldest daughter answered the door. She was home with her boyfriend and their four-month-old baby boy. Mom and the younger daughter were not home yet, but she welcomed Santa inside and was incredibly kind and warm. The house was spotless; it was apparent the family takes great care of both their home and each other.
Santa began by handing out the individual presents, placing the ones for Mom and her sister under the tree—the only gifts beneath it. Santa took his time talking with the daughter and boyfriend, asking lots of questions about the baby, and soaking in the moment.
After chatting for several minutes and giving the elves time to do their quiet work, Santa told the daughter he was going to do a little Santa magic. He asked, “Do you believe Santa is magic?” As soon as she said “Yes!” he opened the front door to several bags filled with presents waiting on the porch. From where they sat, they just saw the first two bags and were shocked. Then, as Santa kept bringing bag after bag inside, they realized just how many there were. Surprise turned to disbelief, then to overwhelming gratitude.
There were big smiles, laughter, a few jokes, and plenty of Merry Christmases all around. This family was incredibly kind, deeply appreciative, and clearly well deserving of the magic that found its way to their door that night.
Santa and the elves went to bring joy to two single moms that finally have apartments and stability for their children after months of homelessness.
However, with the secured apartment complex, Santa was not able to surprise the families as he usually would. When the elves called the moms to get let in, they discovered that, unfortunately, no one was home. One of the moms excitedly called her brother, who immediately came to meet them and let them into one of the apartments.
Santa and the elves took their time carefully arranging the mountains of gifts, knowing that they will remember the moment they opened that door for the rest of their lives.
The uncle was overwhelmed by the abundance and generosity. He also asked to take a picture with Santa to prove to the children that Santa really did come to visit them that night. Santa happily obliged, of course, before heading back to his sleigh.
When Santa arrived, the family wasn’t home yet, but Grandma was there, and the surprise on her face said everything. She clearly hadn’t been expecting anyone, let alone Santa, and for a moment she just stood there trying to process what was happening.
Once it sank in, her confusion turned into delight. She welcomed Santa, explaining that the rest of the family was out and would be back later, and listened carefully as Santa explained why he was there. Even without the kids present, the moment felt meaningful. Grandma was grateful, a little emotional, and clearly touched that someone had gone out of their way to make sure her family was remembered.
We had some logistical complications with Brandon, but we finally found him and an elf met him to give him and his son all their gifts. He was very surprised and gave the elf a welcoming, heartfelt hug. He was with his young child, whom he had sole custody of. He said he had a very challenging Christmas, with some serious family issues, and he moved to California because of them.
He got very emotional when he saw how many gifts they got, including a large TV. His child couldn’t believe his eyes and was incredibly sweet and thankful. He said thanks so many times, and did not let the elf leave without a final, huge hug.
Santa arrived and was quickly welcomed inside by Mom and her three-year-old son, who was a little scared of Santa at first. Santa was well prepared for toddler shock and quickly pivoted to sharing the gifts for the individual family members while the elves were preparing the bags of gifts outside the door. Just then, the six-year-old daughter arrived with Mom’s partner so, needless to say, everyone was quite surprised and a bit confused for a moment.
The kids were wide-eyed seeing all the gifts and Santa Claus, himself, but once they got over the shock and saw the smile on Mom’s face, they were quickly smiling, too. Santa could feel how sweet and caring this family is. As they opened their first presents, cheering, thank yous, and joy filled the house.
The family asked to take a picture before Santa headed back to his sleigh, smiles all around. Walking him out, Mom quietly asked where he came from. “Why, the North Pole, of course!” Santa happily replied.
Family 330 was one of those stops that stays with you. When Santa first arrived, the house was completely dark. For a moment, it looked like no one was home. Santa knocked anyway, and the door opened to Dad, who lit up instantly when he saw Santa standing there. That joy lasted about two seconds before he deflated a bit and explained that the kids were over at his sister’s house.
Once inside, Santa closed the door and suggested FaceTiming them. Dad loved the idea. They called, and suddenly Santa was on the phone with a bunch of very excited kids. Dad stood close, quietly whispering each child’s name into Santa’s ear so he could greet them personally as they came into view. Hearing Santa say their names made it all feel even more magical. They talked for a while, said hellos to the kids and their aunt, and ended the call with lots of smiles. They even snapped a few selfies together, which turned out to be a lot of fun.
As they talked, Santa learned more about their story. Ten years ago, Mom had suffered a major stroke. Doctors told the family she likely would not survive, and if she did, she would never fully recover. But there she was, walking, talking, fully present, and absolutely radiant. Every bit of her was back. The gratitude in that house was palpable. They were humble and kind, with an almost childlike excitement at Santa’s presence.
Santa kept them distracted, while there were a lot of bags waiting outside. When he finally opened the front door, even in the dark, you could immediately tell there were piles of gifts. Santa started dragging them in, one after another, and the energy inside the house exploded. Mom kept calling out for grandma, yelling that Santa was there. Grandma, from the other room, kept insisting it was a prank.
Eventually, she came out to see for herself. The moment she saw Santa, she rushed over as fast as a grandma can rush and wrapped Santa in a hug so tight it nearly knocked the wind out of him. They brought all the bags inside, took more pictures, and spent time talking about resilience, positive thinking, and the strength it takes to keep going when life throws its hardest punches. Santa told them how proud he was of them for fighting through everything and for working so hard to give their kids a good life. Then Santa climbed back onto his sleigh, heart a little more full than before, and headed off to the next stop.
After a knock at the door, Santa was greeted by the head of the household—a 48-year-old mother who was lovingly caring for her parents that evening. When Santa cheerfully recited the names of the children on his Nice List, she welcomed him inside with a big smile that did not leave her face.
Although the children were attending a church function at the time, she happily accepted the gifts on their behalf, clearly touched by the moment. Nearby, the grandfather, seated on the couch, jokingly commented on Santa’s recent weight loss. Without missing a beat, Santa replied, “Mrs. Claus runs a tight ship—my pants are too big these days,” sending all three adults into laughter.
As Santa prepared to leave, the mother gasped at the sight of even more gifts waiting on the front porch. Struggling to carry them all, she was quickly joined by Santa, who insisted on helping and carried several of the heavier packages inside. Laughing, she remarked that even though Santa was slimmer, he was still strong enough to deliver big gifts.
Santa chuckled, wished the family a Merry Christmas, and headed off into the night.
When Santa knocked on the door, Mom opened it and was immediately shocked to see Santa standing there. She and her partner were completely surprised and started laughing in confusion and joy.
Mom said “Oh my gosh, what is going on!?” as they welcomed him inside. Unfortunately, the kids weren’t home for Santa to greet, so he had to find creative ways to stall to give his elves time to set the bags of gifts up out front. He took his time going through the names of children and made sure to talk about their dog, as he pulled out the individual family gifts and an envelope filled with gift cards.
Even though the door was closed, Mom could see the elves scurrying to the doorway and leaving huge bags on the porch. At this point, Santa had to explain what the elves were doing, and she continued to laugh while clearly enjoying this surreal moment and the wave of generosity.
Soon, the shock wore off and the laughs turned to tears. Mom was extremely grateful and started crying and kept saying “Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!” Even though Santa wasn’t able to meet the children personally, he headed back to his sleigh with a heart filled with warmth.
Santa was greeted by a Mom who ended her Christmas Eve celebration early so she could put in extra hours at her remote job. By her side was her second-oldest daughter, age eight, quietly tidying up the living room. When they heard that Santa had presents for their family, both were ecstatic and filled with joy. After learning that the other four children were attending a church function, Santa asked the eight-year-old if she would be willing to deliver the gifts to her siblings on his behalf. She accepted without hesitation, jumping up and down with excitement at the responsibility as he pulled out a gift for each member of the family.
Mom, still in disbelief that Santa was standing in her living room and handing presents to her daughter, could only smile and repeat, “Oh my gosh… how? And why?” Santa replied, “How? Christmas magic! Why? Because your hard work and dedication have not gone unnoticed.”
Before leaving, Santa received a big warm hug from both mother and daughter. Then, as he opened the front door, he revealed a porch filled with huge bags of gifts. The sight made the mother jump with joy, just as her daughter had been doing the entire time! Together, they rushed outside to bring in the presents, and waved goodbye to Santa.
This was Santa’s very last delivery of the night. Earlier, Santa had tried to stop by, but no one was home. When the family returned later and found the door hanger, they called the North Pole right away. Their timing was perfect. They caught Santa just before he was about to “clock out” for the night. So Santa turned the sleigh around and went back.
When the door opened, Grandma was absolutely thrilled to see Santa, along with the young man standing beside her. Even though she knew Santa was coming, she kept shaking her head and saying, “I thought this was a prank. I really thought this was a prank.” The disbelief quickly turned into joy when she realized it was real.
The surprise grew even bigger when they saw how many bags there were and all the treats inside. As we carried everything in together, grandma kept putting her hands to her mouth, repeating, “What a blessing, what a blessing.” At one point, the emotion got the best of her, and she began to cry, overwhelmed by the generosity and kindness.
Because Santa knew this was the last stop of the night, he stayed a little longer. They took photos together in front of the Christmas tree, especially with the young man, capturing a moment that clearly meant a lot to all of them. After wishing them a Merry Christmas, Santa climbed back onto his sleigh, ending the night the best way possible.
When Santa arrived, the kids were not home yet, but Mom was there and warmly welcomed him. She was surprised at first, then quickly understood what was happening and accepted the gifts on her children’s behalf, not realizing there were many more waiting for her just outside.
After Santa’s big reveal of the piles of gifts, Mom started taking photos and videos so she could share the moment with the kids later. Even without them there, the excitement was palpable. She couldn’t stop smiling and kept saying how much this would mean to them when they got home.
When Santa arrived at the motel where this family was living, he didn’t have to knock before the excitement started. The youngest of the three kids was already jumping up and down on the bed as she watched Santa walk toward the door. The energy was instant and filled the room before anyone even had time to speak.
Santa handed out the individual gifts while the kids watched closely, thanking him again and again. They were kind, excited, and completely in the moment. Mom stood nearby, smiling quietly, clearly taking joy in watching her kids light up.
While Santa kept everyone busy, the elves dropped off even more gifts outside. When the kids realized there was more waiting, the excitement kicked up all over again. There was laughter, talking over each other, and so much pure joy.
Santa arrived at the motel and was immediately met with laughter from the front desk, who quickly realized what was happening. Once inside the room, the kids’ excitement took over. They were clearly surprised and thrilled to see Santa standing there. The younger son was a bit quieter, taking it all in at his own pace, while his sister was full of energy and questions. She was especially curious about Santa and couldn’t hide her excitement once she realized who he was.
Santa handed over the white bag and envelope, along with plenty of candy and extra toys from the big red bag. It was clear the room didn’t hold much, which made the moment even more meaningful. Mom was incredibly grateful. She kept shaking Santa’s hand, sharing how hard the year had been without steady work, and how much this visit meant to their family. Santa walked away, moved by her determination and kindness, despite all the adversity the family had faced.
When Santa arrived, Mom was not home, but her sister and her son were there and welcomed Santa inside. They talked for a bit as Santa explained why he was there, and he handed over the gifts for the younger children. The teenager was so happy knowing his siblings would have such a huge surprise waiting for them.
As Santa headed back outside, they walked him out. That’s when everything changed. Sitting on the porch were the big bags of gifts, and the moment the teenager saw them, he stopped in his tracks. The emotion hit him all at once. His eyes filled with tears, and his mom was just as moved, trying to call Mom so she could share in the moment.
The teenager asked to take a picture with Santa, still clearly overwhelmed in the best way. There wasn’t much to say after that.
Santa knocked on the door and was greeted by a woman who answered with a smile. When Santa explained that he had gifts for the kids of the house, she let him know they weren’t home at the moment and wasn’t sure when they would return.
Santa asked if it would be okay to leave the gifts for them anyway. She agreed, smiling as he handed over the white bag. As the elves brought the rest of the gifts up, Santa carried them to the doorway and set them safely inside. She was speechless and so excited with the abundance. After wishing her a Merry Christmas, Santa headed back to his sleigh.
When Santa arrived, the house was completely dark, with a for-sale sign still in the window. Santa called Mom and Dad and quickly realized there was a bit of a language barrier. It turned out the family had moved about a week earlier, so they came back to the house to meet him.
At first, Dad said he didn’t have the kids with him, so Santa and the elves loaded all the presents onto the front porch and waited. A little later, Dad pulled up, bringing all the kids who excitedly wanted to meet Santa. Once they arrived, Santa handed the children their personal gifts and gave Dad the presents for Mom and Dad, along with their gift cards.
Everyone was very appreciative and genuinely happy to see Santa. They were overwhelmed by the number of gifts and kept expressing their thanks. Before heading off, Santa helped load the presents into the truck so they could take everything with them. Dad and the kids drove off with full arms and full hearts, then Santa climbed back onto his sleigh and moved on to the next stop.
When Santa arrived, the kids weren’t home yet, but Mom was there and was immediately overjoyed by the surprise. Santa explained why he was there, and she happily accepted the gifts, already talking about how excited the kids would be when they returned from visiting their other family.
She took her time looking through the presents, smiling and laughing as she imagined their reactions. Santa wished her a Merry Christmas, gave her a huge, heartfelt hug, and headed back to his sleigh, knowing that the gifts would be waiting, and the excitement would feel electric when the kids walked through the door later that night.
Santa knocked on the door, and Grandma answered. He wished her a Merry Christmas and asked if he could step inside. She welcomed him in, and Santa closed the door behind him before explaining that he had gifts for the family.
Grandma shared that she was the only one home, so Santa asked if it would be okay to leave the presents under the tree. She smiled and said yes, mentioning that those were all the gifts the family was expecting this year. Santa carefully set everything under the Christmas tree, then looked at her and smiled. She thanked him warmly, but Santa gently said, “There’s one more surprise.”
She laughed and said, “Oh, okay,” not quite sure what to expect. When Santa opened the front door, the look on her face said everything. She stood there in disbelief as emotion quickly took over, her eyes filling with tears. Santa brought the rest of the presents inside, one by one, while she tried to take it all in.
Once everything was inside, Grandma asked if she could take a picture of Santa in front of the gifts. Santa happily agreed. Afterward, she gave him a big hug, holding on for just a moment longer. Santa wished her a Merry Christmas and headed back to his sleigh.
This stop was a little outside of Santa’s wheelhouse. It was an elderly couple who hadn’t really had Christmas in a few years. Santa found the house and knocked on the door. The woman answered, but her husband wasn’t home, so she spoke with Santa through the screen door. She was cautious and kept asking where Santa was from. Santa explained that Mrs. Claus had sent him from the North Pole, but she wasn’t quite buying it.
She didn’t feel comfortable letting Santa inside, which Santa completely understood. He handed her the gifts through the door instead. Santa then explained that his elves usually follow along behind him, and asked if she wouldn’t mind stepping away from the door for about ten minutes so they could do their work. Santa walked back out to the street while the elves quietly placed the rest of the presents on the porch.
From the street, Santa could hear her on the phone, talking excitedly and trying to explain that Santa had just been at her house. One of the elves mentioned that she was already telling someone she couldn’t believe what was happening. A neighbor came over to help her bring the gifts inside, and she was incredibly appreciative.
Even though she was a little apprehensive and understandably cautious about a stranger knocking on her door, her kindness came through clearly. She was truly touched that someone had thought of them for Christmas.
When Santa arrived, Grandma was sitting out on the front porch. Santa introduced himself, and she welcomed him inside to meet the kids. The eldest child was out for the evening, but the three younger ones were home and gleefully received their presents from Santa. Grandma also received her gift.
Mom wasn’t feeling well, and the great-grandmother was in the hospital, so Santa didn’t see either of them that night. Even so, the kids were kind, respectful, and clearly grateful for everything.
When Santa opened the door to leave, they noticed the piles of the packages waiting on the front porch. The reaction was immediate. They were overwhelmed by how many gifts there were and couldn’t stop saying thank you.
Smiles stretched from ear to ear the moment Santa arrived. The kids were sweet, bouncy, and completely full of joy and energy, barely able to stand still as they took everything in. Their excitement set the tone right away.
After the elves brought over the presents, Mom was overwhelmed. As soon as she saw how much was there, she started to cry, moved by the generosity and the moment itself. The kids stayed close, hugging Santa, asking for pictures, and basking in every second of the visit.
As Santa was heading out, the five-year-old daughter suddenly ran after him. She had one more request and asked if Santa could deliver a present to her friend, Ginny. Santa was moved by her thoughtfulness and generosity. Santa headed back to his sleigh smiling.
This stop was at a new housing project, and mom let Santa in right away. Two of the kids were in the bath, laughing and giggling, while the others stood wide-eyed, taking it all in. The kids ran in for hugs almost immediately, without hesitation. Santa sat on the couch, and chatted with everyone, while passing out the white bag of gifts.
The house was filled with smiles, laughter, and an easy warmth you could feel the moment you stepped inside. Whatever mom is doing, she is clearly doing it right, because the positive energy in that home was unmistakable. Santa stayed a little longer than planned, soaking in the joy and letting the elves work quietly in the background. Once the front door opened and the red bags were revealed, the giggles turned into wonder and the excitement peaked.
Santa knocked, and the ten-year-old daughter came up to the window, spotted Santa, and said hello. Santa waved back and wished her a Merry Christmas. She quickly shut the window and walked away, clearly unsure what to make of it. A moment later, the ten-year-old son came to the window, saw Santa, and immediately went to get Mom.
Mom opened the door, and Santa greeted her and asked if he could come in. She welcomed him inside and called the kids over. Santa explained that he had gifts for everyone and began reaching into his bag, pulling out a present for each child. The kids stood there holding their gifts until Santa told them it was okay to open them right away. That was all the permission they needed; they ripped them all open!
The room filled with excitement as the kids tore into their presents, laughing and talking all at once while Mom captured the moment on her phone. After the first round of gifts, Santa told them he had one more surprise. When he opened the front door and revealed all the additional gifts waiting outside, the kids shouted with joy. Mom kept saying thank you as Santa smiled, wished everyone a Merry Christmas, and headed back to his sleigh.
Santa knocked on the door, and the older sister answered. Santa greeted her with a big “Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas,” and asked if he could step in for a moment because he had gifts for the kids. She welcomed Santa inside and explained that Mom was not home at the moment.
Once inside, Santa closed the door behind him and wished everyone a Merry Christmas. The kids’ faces immediately lit up when Santa told them he had presents just for them. Santa handed out the gifts and invited the kids to open them right away, filling the room with excitement.
One of the daughters had a young friend visiting, so Santa reached into his bag of goodies and pulled out a surprise gift just for the friend as well. The friend’s excitement was instant and contagious. Then Santa announced that he had one more surprise and went back to bring in all the additional gifts waiting outside the door. They were so shocked at how many gifts there were.
As Santa was getting ready to leave, the nine-year-old son smiled from ear to ear and quietly said, “I think he is the real Santa.”
With a gentle knock at the door, Santa was greeted by Mom whose face instantly lit up with a smile that stretched from ear to ear at the sight of St. Nick. Moments later, a group of young children ages 10, 8, 4, 2, and 1, came rushing out of their rooms in disbelief. The shock quickly turned to pure excitement as each was handed a gift.
From the back of the living room, two older children, ages 13 and 12, quietly watched the scene unfold. The eldest questioned Santa, probing the legitimacy of Christmas magic. Fortunately, her 12-year-old sister shared a quiet understanding with Santa and gently helped answer every question that tested the spirit of the season. At the same time, the youngest child, just one year old, happily devoured a piece of chocolate Santa had given her. With a loud burp and a chocolate-covered face, the one-year-old sent the entire family into laughter. Before departing, the children made one final request: that Mrs. Claus join Santa on next year’s toy deliveries. Santa smiled and assured them that Mrs. Claus would happily join him, if a responsible elf could be found to run the North Pole in her absence.
As the door opened, one final magical surprise awaited them. Lining the front porch were even more gifts. The children screamed with excitement. The eldest child—the same one who had questioned Santa earlier—looked at him with quiet awe and approval and asked, “How’d you do that?” Santa simply smiled and replied, “Christmas magic,” before leaving the family behind, overcome with joy.
The family was gathered on the porch as Santa approached, joking that he was looking for a pup named Scooby-Doo—before quickly correcting himself and calling out their dog’s real name, Walker. The unexpected moment brought laughter and surprise, and the youngest child eagerly asked how Santa knew the dog’s name. With a knowing smile, Santa replied, “Because I know everyone who’s naughty and nice.” Overwhelmed by the moment, Mom reached for her phone to capture the memory while inviting Santa in. Although two of the three children were not home, Santa asked the youngest, aged 12, to promise to deliver their siblings’ gifts on his behalf.
Before leaving, Santa took a moment to encourage the mother, thanking her for her hard work and dedication to her family. She gave him a big hug as he said his goodbyes. As Santa opened the door to leave, he revealed the many bundles of gifts.
The family gasped together, then rushed outside to bring everything in, their excitement filling the air. With one last joyful “Merry Christmas,” Santa waved goodbye and disappeared, leaving behind laughter, gratitude, and the lingering magic of the season.
