Ashley’s story is one of unimaginable hardship and breathtaking strength. After years of violence and being trapped in a life she never chose, she made the heartbreaking decision to let her children go so they could be safe. Her escape came the night an undercover officer recognized her silent plea for help and helped her break free.

Now, she is rebuilding her life from the ground up. She is reunited with her four children, in therapy, in college for Social Work, and working as an advocate for survivors like herself. When her perpetrator was sentenced to life in prison, Ashley opened her home to his 15-year-old daughter, who had also suffered abuse, giving her the safety she never had.

This family is starting over with love, determination, and hope. This Christmas, something as simple as a kitchen table to gather around and bunk beds to help the children feel settled would bring them a sense of comfort, they’ve fought so hard for. Ashley and her children survived the darkest moments and are longing for a season filled with warmth, joy, and a true fresh start.
