Family 346
This family has endured several years of instability marked by homelessness, food insecurity, and repeated hospital stays for mom after suffering a stroke. Grandma has taken on most of the caregiving responsibilities, attending school meetings and medical appointments when mom’s health will not allow it, and now her own health is beginning to decline with concerning weight loss. With four children in the home and only occasional visits from the absent parents, nearly all of the parenting falls on mom and grandma. Resources are extremely limited, and many basic needs remain out of reach.
Their second-to-youngest child has cerebral palsy and experiences regular seizures, adding significant medical and emotional strain to an already fragile household. Through it all, both mom and grandma continue doing everything they can to keep the children cared for, grounded, and surrounded by love. A visit from Santa would bring a moment of joy, comfort, and encouragement to a family that has carried far more than most and continues to push forward with resilience.
