Christy is the mother of six beautiful children who spent years living in constant fear because of domestic violence. The abuse escalated until one night her teenage sons were knocked to the floor while trying to protect her. Seeing her children terrified and huddled together gave Christy the strength to flee with nothing but a few bags, her faith, and the determination to keep them safe.

At the domestic violence shelter, counseling and legal support helped them begin to heal, and she learned the heartbreaking truth that her daughters had also been suffering abuse. A case worker later moved them into a safe house where, for the first time in years, the children slept peacefully, had warm meals, and felt the comfort of their own rooms.

Christy continues to work hard, attends counseling, and ensures her children receive the care they need. Although the journey is still challenging, her family is healing, laughing again, thriving in school, and dreaming of a future free from fear. Their strength, resilience, and hope are why this family truly deserves a visit from Santa.
