Christmas Hope

Family 328 - Alexa

Family 328

Alexa is a sweet little girl carrying more heartache than a child her age should ever have to face. I supervise her weekly visits with her father, and every time, she holds on tightly to their moments together. When the visit ends and he has to leave, you can see her whole spirit fall. It is the same quiet heartbreak each week, and she tries so hard to be brave even though it hurts her deeply.

She loves both of her parents and comes from a low-income but once very close family. The separation has been confusing and painful for her, and every week she asks me when her dad will be coming back home to live with them. Despite everything she has been through, she still carries a gentle hope that things will feel whole again. That resilience and tenderness is why I am recommending this family for extra support this Christmas.
