Steve and Mary have weathered many difficult years, often going without Christmas not out of bitterness, but because life has simply been hard. Through it all, Steve has remained himself, writing thoughtful thank-you notes in his careful handwriting, offering warm smiles, and choosing kindness even on days when he could easily turn inward. Mary carries that same gentle strength, moving through the world with quiet grace and compassion.

Together, they have learned to live with less, to do without, and to still treat people with genuine kindness. They never ask for anything and never expect recognition. Honoring them this Christmas would be a meaningful way to reflect back the warmth they’ve given so freely for so long.
